Commander Keen and Duke Nukem II

I remember when I bought my Gravis Gamepad I got a demo disk with Commander Keen, Duke Nukem II, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, and many more of the Apogee ilk. I can't tell you how many hours were wasted on those quality Apogee games. Also, who here remembers Major Stryker? I wasted as much time on that as I did before I discovered Tyrian and Raptor.

I played the full version of Duke Nukem II that came with Duke Nukem 3D. Both were entertaining games and, even though I'm more inclined to strategy games, it's always fun to blast some aliens. Nukin' Up DC (or whatever the game was called) was a great addition to it as well.

All the games you mentioned, aside from Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, I played through once, including Tyrian and Raptor. The best of them are for me Raptor, Commander Keen later games (4-7) and Duke Nukem II. All of them except Duke Nukem II I still have now, most are shareware though, but Raptor is full version and Duke Nukem II that I played was full version from Duke Nukem 3D also.

I've been searching for it for a long time

better use tyrian 2k which has more levels.
I have both on my hd here. So if there are more people who want it and the game meets the criteria maybe I could provide it.

You really should play Cosmo. It's a fun platform game with rather decent graphics and innovative ideas.

I would like to, but I never got this game, neither shareware nor full version. And I'm just too lazy to search for it on the net now... But I'll try it out for sure...later 8)

I probly haev all episodes on a cd somewhere, but I'm not so sure it has the abandonded status. (since it's apogee).

Edit: well looking at apogee's site it isn't abandonded, still you can look at the screenshots there:

Hehe, that crazy they are (or even stupid)... They even sell the original first Duke Nukum 1 with his poor EGA graphics, also, I really would like to know if there's anyone out there who would buy that game today, and that for 10 $... I for my part do more than doubt it.

If kids won't buy new games legally, why would they buy the old ones?
