Zip file is broken :/

Sebatianos 01-09-2005 05:13 PM

Nope - works fine for me...
Are you using Winzip to unzip it?

BTW - Awesome graphics for a game of such a small size! :ok: :ok: :ok:

It's all b0rkt for me too. "unsupported compression method 9" or whatever.. Opened using winzip and also tried with extraction wizard. but, alas.

Works fine for me too. :ok: Excellent game! Though the sound is a bit dissapointing. I remember my friend had this, and he loved to play it while I played Romance of the Three Kingdoms on his Saturn

About the problems:
Yes, it's an archive from The Fifth Horseman - this happened to some other games too - I'll go and repack the game (it should work in a few minutes). The thing is he compresed the games with a zip programe - but the default windows utility doesn't recognise it (winzip does).

EDIT: Try now!

OH, I spent many many hours back then (1991~) playing this game on the ST. What a great little gem for strategy fans! Good strategy map with some city management and lots of battles in the spirit of the Total War and Spartan series. This game is a must for strategy fans IMO. A solid 4 for me.

I played the hell out of this game in college (actually missed a few classes too...). Great war game. I liked the "strategy" parts because they were very simple and you lnly needed them to keep your armies going. I can't wait to start playing again.

I had a 386DX 25mghz machine with a whopping huge hard drive of 100MG, 4mg of ram, Ultrasound soundcard, Gravis joysitck, 3 button mouse, Windows 3.11, *sigh* those were the true golden days of gaming gentlemen. Wish I still had it. It was a great box. But alas, I sold it to move to Chicago in '93...

BTW, I freakin' LOVE this site!
