Time Slaughter

Hi,

I'm looking for a game I used to play on DOS, as far as I can remember it was only the demo. It was a 2D fighter like Mortal Kombat and I think it was fairly violent, but the only definite thing I can remember is one of the stages being a forest, and in the background there was a big cauldron which I think people were being, erm, boiled in.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Sounds like Eternal Champions yet I don't believe that was it.

Thanks for replying. I had a look on youtube for Eternal Champions and I don't think that was it... then again, all I have to go on is the forest / cauldron thing.

Just a bump... I'm only gonna do this once cos I know my description is pretty vague, but if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

well, i don't remember any fighting game that had a stage with a cauldron in the background, but have you tried clicking through mortal kombat's related games (on the bottom of the review)? and related games of related games..

One of the stages (Gen-An's) in Samurai Shodown II has a cauldron, but nothing else matches--that stage isn't a forest but a cave, and it isn't whole people in the cauldron but bones and an alien.

Two games that come to mind are Tongue of the Fatman and Time Slaughter.

Time Slaughter! I'm pretty convinced that's it, going by this screenshot http://www.reloaded.org/popup.php?po...id=600&hei=405

Thanks to everyone who replied! My life is now complete.
