Hm, ye, I might have f*ed up the link.

But if you visit Gog, the giveaways are always on the opening page, and when not, you still get the name of the game from me.

Also, the free-period is usualy 48 hours (minus when I notice and report them), so yesterday it probably expired already. Though luck.

The Witcher

A second time this game is free. For 6 more hours from when I write this.

I think I won't report repeated giveaways.

How is this related to the topic of free GOG.com games? Are trying to promote this software?

I dunno what that app does, but probably the comment should be moved to the not gog, not steam topic:

IF it is a legit thing to use.

Doesn't sound exactly legit

Also, root access? I don't think it's a good idea to allow a third-party app that comes who-knows-from-where and is designed for something that does not seem legal to allow root access to your device.

UDP: I edited out the name of the app, just in case.

Serious Sam: the first encounter

What's this game about?

Well, back then there was Doom, there was Duke Nuk'em, there was Quake and there was Serious Sam!

MrFlibble 24-08-2020 07:27 PM

Except Serious Sam is over five years apart from Duke3D and almost a decade away from Doom. And, it only pretended to have "retro style gameplay of the classic titles while actually having its own way. Don't get me wrong, I like Serious Sam, if only for the Egyptian theme (I actually played more, and probably enjoyed a quite bit more, the Ancient Grome lookalike, Will Rock).

Teleglitch: Die More Edition

Pixelated to the point you have no idea what's happening, "classic", aka. "usless" looking interface, AND it is even rogue-like, meaning there was no level-designing due to lazyness, probably.

But hey, it IS free after all...

I'll definitely try it out. I mean what's to loose?

Butcher

For 6 more hours this pixelated thing too can be yours for free.
