I just get displayed a lot of XXX during the setup and (of course) the game doesnīt start without proper setup. Help would be greatly appreciated.

What are your computer specs and do you use DOSBox?

Iīve got a pretty old Notebook (Fujitsu FMV 6233) with 233 Mhz and Win 98 running on it. My graphic card is a Rage Lt Pro Agp 2x. No, I donīt use Dosbox (donīt need to under Win 98, right?)

No, you don't need DOSBox under Win98. Your computer is not even powerfull enough to even consider using that program anyways.

I do not really understand your problem. You say that all what you see is a lot of x's at setup... Any more info on the problem? What does it really look like?

The exact problem is that where there should text be displayed I can just see xxx. So I can but guess what Iīm currently clicking. I mean there is not a single letter other than x. And -of course- the game doesnīt run without a proper setup.

Hummm, is there some nationality settings associated with the game? Like, is it a game from Japan or China which require some special font? Perhaps you only need to set your nationality setting to something else under Windows (tough I'm fairly sure it's not the problem).

I try to think about a similar problem which may have happened to me before but unfortunatly I have no clue. :( Posting a screenshot would help me tremendously here if it is possible for you to do.

My best bet would be a graphical twich because of incompatible graphic drivers... But this in itself doesn't mean and help much. :(

Well, maybe thereīs nothing we can do about it. Definitely a shame but no tragedy though. Iīm currently studying abroad and Iīll try again on my desktop after I return home in 2 months. Thanks for trying to help!
