Okay, im at the english class right now, and i got a job to write an article about something (It has to be in english).

From the many subjects, i chose abandonware.

What should i write about abandonware? Should i mention you?

Erm... but do you think that your professor will like this "illegal" subject?

I'm sure his "professor" would be looking for quality of writing.

Well, actually it might be a good idea to begin by saying that it's a legally dodgy business and then explain why. Depending on how long the essay is supposed to be you might want to talk about general copyright laws as well.

It is an interesting subject. There are both pros and cons to the term abandonware. What you need to do is to write an essay that deal with all the aspects. Why people do it, why it is illegal, and what the companies - and not least what the actual individual programmers feel.

The minute you start pushing your own views into the essay, you will go off track. Stay focused, and stay neutral.

Well in my life i knew some professors not so looking for quality... and not so objective about the argument of an article...

Anyway, you (@TheChosen) could write that many ones involved in abadonware are doing that to save some old game masterpiece (someones are actually an "artistic expression", just a different way, compared to the books, to tell a story, for example) from the forgetfulness... but you already know it!

why would you choose to write about something and then ask what should you write??

He just wants pointers to what he should bring up. He don't want the actual story.

ESA would be a good thing to mention. Don't just outpour your hatred towards it if thats what you feel, present a well thought out argument for both sides of the fence and then express your opinion =)
