Need help with finding the name for a game
 

For some time now, I have been having these memories of me playing the demo of what I think is an adventure game.
I think you were in some sort of a robot and you got this transmission from some guy in a jungle, he seemed to be hiding from something.
And you were in this room full of debris and you were looking around.

I shall start off the inevitable guessing game with Beneath a Steel Sky.

Sorry, but that ain't right.
This adventure game was in a first person view.

Maabus maybe?

Not that one either, I'm afraid.
I think the game I remember came out later during the 90's, possibly 97,98 or 99.
Not to mention, it had a bit darker colors too as far as I remember.

Check perhaps Journeyman Project and System Shock series. Few more suggestions would be Sentient, Obsidian and Zero Zone

Also, you might wanna check games on mobygames that are adventures, 1st person and and Sci-Fi or Cyberpunk... you might get lucky
