Very good review of this game, I m just downloading it to try it :o)

By the way: You talk about Witchcraft, but I think you mean Witchaven. Dont kill me if I m just wrong ;o) A Review+DL about the Witchaven series would be very nice btw..

Cor, I remember THAT one, still scare the heck out of my great aunt with it, HAHA!
I also recall this as the first FPS I played where some of the guys play dead, soon after was Rise of the Triad, which was a much better game, but oi, what a trip!

there's a big mistake in the review. the "build engine" wich was used in duke3d was NOT made by id software. apogee's engine developer was inspired by wolfenstein and made his own little labirinth game with an own engine. that's the reason apogee hired him, but there's not ID source inside.

Am I the only one who can't run this game?

It seems that every game but one I've downloaded from this site does not work. I have used DosBox before for a long time, but my comp crashed and I got a new one. I'm not doing anything differently from now and then, and they all worked then. When I run this game it always says "BC exited on its own. Reported in BC.log" or something along those lines. Also, for the game EPIC I get a bunch of words in like Russian or something, no game.

But I really wanna play Operation Body Count and I've set it all up, all necessary files from this site are there and nothing works.

Perhaps the version of DOSBox you're using now is different from the one you used back then?
Or it might be an issue with Windows Vista.
Anyway. Try with the latest DOSBox version. If that doesn't work, try with older ones. 0.70, 0.65, 0.63, 0.61
