Just wanted to say "Hi" here :) - I'm an old member and lover of Abandonia. I'm amazed it's still here and still active - you guys are awesome!


It's crazy so much time has gone and the scene has changed I guess - GOG changed it and made it pretty "cool" to try old games. This is great for the games but probably not so much for sites like this.


Hah even some of my old reviews are still here! XD Boy did I love Caveman Ughlympics - http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/21...h-Lympics.html - try it out if you haven't yet. They don't make games like this anymore...

Hey mika, I remember the time when you've been still active on the forum. Some of the admin people wondered why you'd disappeared, and whether something happened. You wouldn't know me under this nick, but I've just became active here on Abandonia while you were still here, as FreeFreddy.
Now that's been many years since. Welcome back. Not many (if any) from those times are active here anymore, you'd be like the only blast from the ancient past now :p

Wow 2008 - over 10 years ago! It's kind of funny that I'm probably more nostalgic over the abandonware sites I used to visit than the games these days XD


I still remember Abandonia before this "new" look hah - the good old one that that Turkish website cloned and pissed Kosta off...

Yeah, the blue-white much more BBCode-like site back then. Anyone even remember it? This one on WaybackMachine shows the old design back then, for anyone interested. You might want to disable some of the ad-blocking extensions though, especially if you're on Firefox.
Also you can try to play around with the links like Forum, but expect only a few of them to actually work, due to the big WaybackMachine purge some years ago, after which it started to save & keep only few webside dumps from way earlier, to save on the server cost issues (Hint: try the About Us link on the upper-left side for the list of original Abandonia crew back then).
