how it works? Monthly donations

How does the monthly donations work?

I clicked on donate, ticked the monthly option, and pay via paypal.

However, I don't think paypal has a feature/option to automatically pay monthly? Or does abandonia automatically do the monthly request... or is it like direct-debit o.O ?

It must be the same thing on Abandonia. You will donate through PayPal, but in this case the payment should be manual rather than automatic.
