Fakecd is a well known program for emulation in DOS.
But, you can add this line in autoexec.bat and Win 9x will recognize that drive or dir also as cd-rom drive : fakecd c:\game /L:x where x is a drive letter for emulated cd-rom (a-z) |
I don't know how fake CD and win98 work together but I am pretty sure that the DaemaonTools work for Windows to emulate CDROM drives. You simply need and image that can be mounted. those images can be created with e.g. Nero or Alcohol ...
