Motion slow program, the way to slowdown old dos games before the Dosbox came in.

I recently plugged in my old computer, so that I could play old games in the Win98 enviroment (and In my own room, aah the peace). However, since the computer is slow and old, Its not strong enough to use dosbox.

I can still use Moslo, but I dont know how. Any help on that?

Mo'slo /% [executable]
Where /% is the percentage of your machine's speed you want the [executable] to run at.

If you run moslo (on a command line) without any parameters or switches it will list the available options and give a brief example.

btw: the percentage should be in the form of i.e. 10.0

Note the dot and one decimal.

I recommend DOSBOX better than MOSLO. Using the function keys you can make increase/decrease velocity ingame. (and MORE, MORE functions like memory EMS, XMS, CGA/EGA/VGA support, CDROM support, etc all in one!!!)

I used to use mo slow when I had 98 cause that was before I learnt you could make a doxbox shortcut in the game folder and drag the games .exe so it was over the dosbox icon. So you did not need to mount stuff yourself as it mounted the games folder automatically. Mo slow was great.

If the computer is slow and old why don't You try to run games in pure DOS? It's really easy to set up a double boot for DOS and for Win98.

Or you could just use a diskette to start MS-DOS
