As you're probably aware, a few people have taken on the task of editing the reviews on the site to correct any mistakes in the spelling, punctuation and grammar. We'd like it if you all gave us permission to do so, rather than just wading in, so please give us the go-ahead in here. If you have any strong objections or would like to see the changes we're planning on making before the corrected review is uploaded let us know - we can always PM or email you the final version with highlighted changes. If you flat refuse that's fair enough - saves us a bit of work!

We're not quite sure as yet what we're going to do if we don't get a response from any of the reviewers - I imagine there's a few who are no longer active. We'll probably just leave them until last and make a decision then.

If you want to give permissions or not please send a PM to beefonthebone

Looks like I should start patenting my ideas before mentioning them in the forum.

Well I've done two, and if you come across feel free to correct any mistakes.

Also if you want me to help out in any way just send me a PM or something. :ok:

No problem.

Mad-E-Fact 03-03-2005 09:19 AM

I just sent my first review to Kosta, feel free to edit it as you see fit.

Reup 03-03-2005 09:29 AM

You can edit my review(s)!

Tuttle 03-03-2005 12:12 PM

I think you should at least run any changes past the author if possible first -- after all, it's their name at the bottom. :) I know I'd want to see any changes before they were made to mine.

BeefontheBone 03-03-2005 12:24 PM

I'd rather not do that for absolutely every review; it'd make it even more time-consuming than it already will be. If any individual wants to see the edits before they're uploaded and discuss them that's not a problem. Have you reviewed anything tuttle? if so i'll make a note on the grammar forum.

Just two qustions:
1)Can I just PM my review to you to correct all mistakes and bad grammar instead of editing uploaded review?Btw of course feel free to editing my reviews becouse I have no illusions of my English..
2)Who all are actually grammar corection team? And where is a grammar forum?

BeefontheBone 03-03-2005 01:07 PM

The team consists of myself, Ababo, Taikara and Fruit Pie Jones, and I'm sure any of us would be happy to take a look at anything you PM to us before it's uploaded. The Grammar forum is only available to us four and the admins, so as to keep everything a bit tidier!
