I'm preparing a complete package for Turrican II - The Final Fight

• Archive: I uploaded the ISO months ago into the cellar, but a preinstalled version was needed to solve few problems. I've added details into the review. If possible I would like you to test if it works correctly.
• Review: already into Grammar forums, there are so many Engrish obscenities :p
• Music: I have the soundtrack in midi files, but we should check if Chris Huelsbeck (the author) still sells the CD. [edit]It seems still supported http://www.huelsbeck.com/ [/edit]

• Boxshots: I have them, but few are missed, considering the rarity of the Dos version I would like to upload one taken from the net years ago (in German). Actually I don't remember where I took it, but probably the site is dead, can't find it anymore to ask for permission.
• Manual: I have an amatorial .pdf convertion of the original manual, made by a certain T.R.Schmidt. There are credits on it, so it shouldn't be a problem to add, if added we could substitute it later with an original one. Let me know what you think.
• Screenshots: I have done them, but I'm having problems with the resolution, don't know why but DosBox creates them with a resolution of 304x228 pixels instead of the default 320x200, do you know how can I solve this? I can modify them with Gimp/Photoshop but the result is not so nice...

FTP folder created and Archive uploaded as .zip file.

I've found the source of those rare boxshots, I'll send a mail for permissions. :)

I've just prepared the Intro video for YouTube, but I'm having problems with FTP, for unknown reasons I can't upload files.
Are you having similar problems?

The funny thing is that I'm using the main admin account, it worked for last updates, I guess it's something related to server change :mhh:
I'll try using the common procedure.

Uncutted version of the Intro uploaded into YouTube folder. :onftp:

It's a 24,4MB .zip file, around 5,36. It can be refined a bit.

Now I want to understand why the upload doesn't work with a full permission profile :p

I've modified screenshots manually because DosBox captured them with a resolution of 304x228 pixels instead of the default 320x200 pixels.

Remember to add this under the review:

Folder created over FManager always have less Permission than a Folder created with FileZila (and other FTP-Programs.)

If you view in FileZila you see Dave and bobinator1992 have 48 while all other have 500 (in other words the full Permission).

I say it again: Use Fmanager only for copy, move and deleting and FileZila for Creating and uploading!

I think you should somehow use the keymapper (Ctrl+F1).

I had problems of audio/video synchronization, however it seems to be only a problem of visualization related to the Windows Media Player codec because they are displayed correctly using VirtualDub.

P.s. the version of Alien Breed we offer for download is the windows remake. I think we should simply add the "ESA Logo" to underline that we don't offer the original game, (You know Team17 has recently started a new crusade against Abandonware sites) and leave the link into review.

Btw, you know we include links to our pages in the video info. So waht do we do with videos for games not on site like Superfrog or Fifth's Earthsiege II/Zombie Wars videos. Do we upload them, just without the links?

yeah, it's the same fight, you must beat Max twice, after that he shows his real Cyborg nature. And you must beat the Terminator for 2 rounds :p

Yeah, now I remember, it's been a while. All the time people were speaking that the game is easiest to beat if you play with Kosak. I only managed to beat the game with Dug (if that's the name of that fat sailor).

Yes, Dug :) ,but actually he reminds me a wrestler.
I finished it with Ninja, he is not my favourite but the sword is really strong if used in the right way.

I've also recorded the intro but it has few glitches, probably a problem of compatibility with DosBox.

I've just uploaded a new video for YT channel, I've switched to DosBox 0.74, don't know if there's some difference from videos recorded with 0.73 :

Around 10:30 of video, I mixed Training and Tournament parts.
In case it's too big let me know and I'll split it, max YT requirement should be 15 minutes IIRC.

It was 10 minutes last time I've checked, but it works up to 10:50 :)

I'll check that one, because I was doing the same thing. I guess in the end any would do, but the thing is that in dosbox music doesn't follow animation due to increased speed. Perhaps not very important, but still...

Should be ok, I always check them twice. Be sure to visualize it using Virtual Dub because if you open it with Media Player (with the codec suggested by dosbox team) you'll see that music problem.

Perhaps I was unclear... it is in the bare dosbox that music doesn't play as it should... I mean music is fine, it is the speed of the music and the animation that doesn't match. Otherwise, I would have submitted this intro last summer or something.

Ok, let me know, all seems fine here.
I had problems in the past recording videos using old DosBox versions, those problems disappeared with 0.73 and 0.74, maybe that's the reason?
