Regarding the Re-Volt game

You guys have the whole game on your website. Is it legal to host it or download it? shouldn't we be buying it? it's still available on site like Amazon and E-bay. Could an official person from Abandonia respond please?

Please read our FAQ. If copies are available from third-party sellers, but are no longer sold or supported by the publisher, and are not protected, count as abandonware.

All copies of it currently available on Amazon or eBay are second-hand and pre-owned (ie used) copies. We do not count second-hand sales as legitimate sources, for multiple reasons.

Amazon has often been used by individuals selling bootleg copies instead of the original media. We have limited our criteria regarding what's sold there to being sold a) by Amazon itself (counting "fullfillment by Amazon" as that) or b) by a seller confirmed as a representative of the copyright holder.

eBay is exclusively a platform for second-hand sales, therefore not considered at all.

and if you want a hard copy you can still buy some second hand box anyways...

Throwback Entertainment seems to hold the license.

They acquired it, appointed some company presidents and then did nothing for last two years.
Their forum has been shut down for around half a year now (if not a year and a half), the "company blog" has been inactive for two years and all together this doesn't paint a bright picture for the possibility of any re-releases - let alone sequels.
