Turn based, tank, air battle Strategy game
 

This was an old game I remember playing as a kid, I think it was on the playstation but not sure, it was aturn based game, where one could move their tanks or air units around the map and attack the other players units, each tile was either a pentagon or a hexagon.

Both Allied General and Panzer General were ported to the Playstation. You may be thinking of Nectaris, but I don't think that has a tiled map.

Pentagon tiled maps are extremely uncommon, if they exist.

I don't really know about playstation games, but I have a few questions that may help those that do:

Do you remember the "era" of those planes and tanks? For example, WWII, modern, futuristic.

Do you remember anything about factions?

Also, scenery? Temperate, snow, desert?
