Intermission

Back in the days of Win95, there were two big-selling screensaver packages: AfterDark, and Intermission. When Berkeley Systems was purchased by EA (and subsequently killed), AfterDark was never heard of, again. But Intermission...? If nobody owns it and it isn't ESA-protected, can be we get a copy uploaded? Sure, some of the modules are out of sync with the speed of new systems, but it showed a great deal of creativity.

Both screensaver collections, the latter with a few mini-games included. Great stuff, and I'm looking for them--especially the latter. Too bad EA swallowed up Berkeley Systems, the makers of AfterDark, and killed the company.

Since EA bought them up are they ESA protected? I might be able to satisfy that request if they are not protected.

I can't say one way or the other, but I've seen no prohibitions from EA on this.

OK, and finally, they are Windows "games" not DOS. So if Kosta (and/or whomever) is fine with it, I may see what I can do.

That's fine Taskmaster.
I don't think they really mind if it's Windows or DOS.
I mean, I'm submitting Re-Volt and I submitted Turok, so I think it's plenty fine.

Well, but on the other hand my Castle of the Winds review was never added because it's a Windows game. Or maybe they just didn't have the heart to tell me it was poorly written...

I don't believe anything you can write would be poor.
How long ago was that?
Every Windows game I've uploaded has been on the site, even stuff that work in both DOS/Windows, so far it's been the two mentioned afore, and Alien Trilogy.
