Space-based artillery game with satellites and asteroids
 

Trying to find a game for a friend, here's what he's told me:

"A win95 (possibly Win98) game where you each control a space satellite. And you have upgrades and some sort of income/upgrade system. And you each have your turn and you could fly off if a player hit you. It was 2D, with 3D sprites. Oh yeah, another thing which was cool is that your missiles were affected by planet and asteroid gravity."

Any suggestions that'd point us in the right direction would be welcome :)

Glad to help. It's a very fun game, I wish there was a modern version.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have seen that one and while it looks interesting, gameplay seems to be quite different from Warheads (which is basically Scorched Earth on Space).
