What is the Dynamic Core in DOSBox and how do I use it?

It's an emulation method in dosbox that can handle much higher cycles on a pc compared to normal core. (4 times as high)

to enable it. Open dosbox.conf (shortcut in dosbox menu) look for

core=normal

change to

Code:

core=dynamic

save the file and start dosbox.

And the PC can handle the far larger number of cycles easily then, without slowing down instead?

yeah. it depends on the game, but usually you can at least double the cycles.
