OMG! I have this game on cd. I remeber when i played it first time..i was soo scared (yeah i know pathetic LOL) . this is excelent game..havent played this in ages. :D

Nice game, I think I'll have to learn to conserve my ammo a bit instead of freaking out and firing like mad whenever something pops out otherwise I'm never going to finish it! Nothing scarier than seeing loads of contacts on the scanner and having virtually no weapons left.

Does the sound problem under XP exists with the use of vdms or does it not even run with it?

I didn't experiment with VDM, but the first time I tried it locked up for some reason.
So I guess it doesn't work.
