I can't remember the name of this game!
The game would be from the late, late 80s or--more likely--the early 90s.
It's a top-down, fantasy RTS. The premise was basically that you were a mercenary who took missions for various groups. I remember a screen where there were somewhere between six and eight factions. Each seemed to be a different race (elves, humans, etc.). During missions there was no base building. It was just you had some units and they had units, and you had to try to accomplish the mission. On top of that, there was also the ability to make custom scenarios or battles. Units, I don't think, ever had special abilities. It was basically once in contact they fought. The main tactical thing I remember was that hiding in bushes (I think) rendered units invisible. I don't know why I can't remember the name! Argh! Thank you in advance for any help! |
Do you remember any other pieces of information that could help? Some examples of units available (the more uncommon the better), maybe the design of some symbols.
