Notepad and a browser capable of running JavaScript/EMCAScript.

plus some programming skills and rather than that LOADS o'experience with programming .......

well if you want to make something like klick -> click -> win you just can get around with html - probaby ... maybe you just shouldn't expect to be making a 3d space shooter in html ..... :D

Do you mean one of those spam-everybody-with-a-trap-link-to-gain-more-soldiers, or a browser based game like Kingdom Of Loathing, or did you mean actual applets, like Runescape or those Flash-games?

But; u wanna make some big game loke utopia or hattrick, or an small one like these of addicting games?

There was a guy here a while ago who i know made a MUD, we were both talking about what would make a great post-meteor-hitting-the-earth-apocalypse game....i tihnk the word 'Ape' was in his name, if only you could track him down, cause he knows what he's talking about!
