The New Three Stoges cartoon??? It had only drums in the opening if I remember correctly...

Not a cartoon but that sounds suspiciously like the theme tune to "Have I Got News For You".

Those aren't really drums as such, just me trying to write down a noise...

Nope, more mainstream than that. The title sequence features clips of other older cartoons.

Is it either wacky Races or the other cartoon with Darsturdly and Mutley in where they have to stop the pigeon. Actually that might be what its called!!!

Only thing I know with a crashing noise at the end is Futurama, and it shows a brief clip from older cartoons. But I don't know if it goes bam, bom, downam or whicky.

Waxky Races did feature Dasterdly and Mutley, but they were just racing.

They were trying to capture that pigeon in Dastardly and Mutley in their Flying Machines...

So? Is it Wacky Races (the beat really might be from that cartoon, with rocks crashing down on the old double zero in the end).
