Cool... real movies :)
|
Is this the full CD version and does anyone know if it's a hybrid cd with both Mac and PC versions? I think my brother lost my old copy that I let him borrow, or it got destroyed when his apartment burned down.
|
iso cellar is the place for full cd versions so i guess it's full cd version
and nope, it's dos only. but dosbox runs on gaymac*coughcough*i mean macintosh too |
49 MB seems extra small, but I guess if you take out the Mac version and compress it down, it might shrink that small. I managed to find a hybrid version though.

can you check the differences between them?
on a side note: rapidshare link is down |

Year: 1996 OST: 07 Musics (Battle musics) Size: 69.9 MB (without OST) Yes, it is the same thing. :OK: I think its huge size is because of OST (CDA). Maybe WC has high (very cool!) quality BGM while you are playing. Who knows? :dunno: Too bad it has only 07 musics. |
hey, if it has audiotracks and has around 500 megs, it must have been made into a CUE, or no? how come an iso had 70 mb? isos are not able to store the audio tracks on them

hey, can you just make the cue image, or at least rip the songs off the cd for us? even if it would work only on a mac version it'd be still cool to have those tracks
..and who knows, maybe someone will be able to implement them into dos version somehow |

the thing is, this guy has a mac image that has audiotracks, so it would be cool if he made a .cue out of it. iso won't do it

I think my version is for MS-DOS and Macintosh. Perhaps my question could be stupid, but I wonder why you need only .cue instead of .iso, .img or whatever extension. :what: My second question: the best sharing/hosting file website? (Rapishare, Megaupload, etc.). After this, I will upload it asap. :hello: |
If the CD has audio tracks an ISO can't hold those tracks nor the needed specific track info.
BIN/CUE format does hold both data ΰnd audio tracks. BIN will hold all data (tracks included) and CUE will hold the specific audio track info. It's called a 'mixed mode' CD. |
i think the mdf alcohol format also supports audio tracks, but i'm not sure atm
for sharing: 4shared never turned down abandonware for me so far |

@_r.u.s.s.ian: Yes, .mdf also supports audio tracks (mixed mode). In any case, I will create it into .cue. |
Links for download
Well, unfortunately, Alcohol 120% can't create .cue. But I think .mdf isn't bad.
4shared.com sucks! :( Its size limit is only 200 MB. :headslap: And only 90 KB/s... I deleted the links. Only uploader and me know the links. Have fun! :desmond: |
thanks for the images!
btw, there aren't many more reliable services that offer 200 mb and more per file |
THX for uploading Mystvan.
For those interested I can say that the CloneCD image is working 100%. |
I am glad everything is working fine.
By the way, I am pretty sure MDS/MDF is OK since I always used Alcohol 120% to create any image file from b-games and they always worked fine. :OK: |
Heh!?
I am a bit confused... I just received a message from 4shared Staff:
I wonder if an "abandonian" is pissed off and complained about my uploaded files. Hmmm... Since I don't want to be banned on 4shared.com, maybe I will delete them. Well ... so much for that. I don't get it - is someone still selling it ?
Isn't it abandonware ? I completely missed it ... |
This is really weird.
I'm trying to "enter" the first page of this topic, to dl the iso, and it says that i'm not logged in... :wall: |
I'm not sure, but I think blizzard is still selling it as part of compilations. can someone verify this?
|

I downloaded 70MB ISO, chose to install all to hdd then copy-paste to CDrive in dosbox folder and everything is there, music, videos, etc. The best solution in my opinion. I also installed the patch found under "Dox.rar" in NRG link.

Hey that megaupload link for the dos cd iso is no good now...
:mhh: Warcraft dos iso 70 mb ver 1.22 http://www.4shared.com/rar/7w6lOfmc/WARCRAFTDOS.html |

Not to be "That Guy", but since this game is now on GOG (the CD version, at that!), should it perhaps be taken off this site?
