Thanks for the heads up! :) I'm not really into puzzle games and I'm not playing it now, but I guess I can afford it.

I hate you portal for being better then my computer can handle. I wonder why they are throwing it out there for free.

I thought they were celebrating MAC Steam.

finished it in about 4 hrs some time ago. pretty cool and the story is great.

OMG, my PC is able to run Portal! :woot:

But I had to create a new account, and it displayed an error, so I tried it again, and again the same error. Then I saw in my E-Mail account that it worked nevertheless both times, just before I noticed that I am able to access my old account, just with lower case initial, although it works with upper case initial in all other Steam functions...

I think it was the best game in Orange Box. Episodes 1 and 2 were meh. And Team Fortress is just not my kind of FPS game. Portal owes all of its greatness to GlaDOS though.

I'm thinking it was put up for grabs for two reasons...
1) Mac now has Steam, let's celebrate!
and
2) Portal 2 will be coming out later this year and sounds like it will be awesome!

why are you so happy about mac having steam? why do you need steam anyways. it only brings hassle
