Isnt the Death Gate iso already present in the iso cellar ? I have downloaded it from this site.

Japo 11-03-2012 07:30 PM

LOL I didn't check. Well two sources are better than one...

Skywolf 12-03-2012 08:28 PM

The other source must be for the floppy disk edition. The reason I uploaded this was becuse the file that is available from Abandonia is a cut-down version with low-res graphics and no voices at all (and possibly no sound?).

This version has the high-res graphics, full sound, and a quick-start tutorial.

Skywolf, Iso cellar is not AB's main, it's a sub here on the forum.

Size game on AB: 9830 kb , so yes, that will be the flop version.

Size game in iso cellar: 271 MB ,that will be the full CD.

Certainly, this system of using 3party filehosts is to say at least unreliable.

Skywolf 13-03-2012 05:27 PM

Ok I am posting there. You have a very strange system....

Skywolf 13-03-2012 05:38 PM

Woops, double post. sorry.

Skywolf 29-03-2012 09:01 PM

Do you need box shots?

Japo 30-03-2012 12:08 AM

Sure! Tell me whenever they're ready to upload, and I'll tell you how to. These we'll host directly on Abandonia, of course.

Skywolf 25-06-2012 03:32 PM

The Death Gate description still says this is the low-res floppy-disc version, how come neither of the two full copies that are on here have been added to the main page?

Come on guys! Here is another one!

We only host directly archives up to 270 MB, in 7z, RAR or ZIP. Also those archives are usually already installed and ready to play, even if they include the disk image and a DOSBox script to mount it. When we can't do that in 270 MB or less, the archive would be over capacity for our website, and we use the ISO Cellar instead.
