Well, the opening ceremony is tonight, so feel free to boast how well you're uncle is doing in paralel snowboard parking behind the biathlon targeting range, or about how your country's athlets are winning popularity by pulling funny stunts like catching flies while jumping off a large 120m ski jump.

Of course you can also talk about the real events ^_^

I think that everyone who knows Alpine Skiing is aware that Janica Kostelić is going to take all the medals! :D

You're right. She's big enough to take the first, second and third place at the same time. :bleh:

So true. That's what keeps her acceleration way higher that her opponents'! :D

Living in Turin, for the moment, I've to say that I have too many traffic problems :ranting: but many shopkeepers are very happy in these days :D

I like watching curling. It makes me laugh. It's like testing the ability to sweep and skate sideways at the same time :bleh:

GO CURLING!

Indeed. I tried it once, but then found that it's actually more difficult than it looks - much like housework - but with the added factor that you're sliding sideways on shoes!

So how about that opening ceremony?

I though it really was briliant! OK, the Ferrari on stage might have been a bit too much, but Pavarotti at the end - fantastic!

Yeah although I find opening ceremonies boring, this really was amongst the better ones, well at least the last 10 minutes I saw :tomato:
