Did anyone play and like a game called Drakan? It wasn't too bad from my opinion. Some of it was a little dry, and the dialogue was cheesy, but it had good potential. Did they ever make a sequel or did it die out?

Drakan: order of the flame?
It was a nice game, I don't think they made a sequel.

They could have done so much more with it, but I liked how they staged certain things like being able to crush a warthog with a dead tree or falling rock. It was neat finding swords in odd places, and how they threw one part that was like finding Gollum from lord of the rings. I'd have liked it better if they had made more types of swords and armor than just changing the names of them and point count...

Which part? It's been a long time since I last played it.

For those wanting to try Drakan, CDAccess is still selling it.

The sequel was called Drakan - The Ancient Gates. It came out only for PS2.

EDIT: The Ancient Gates at Mobygames: http://www.mobygames.com/game/sheet/gameId,5724/

Agreed. Same company, I think, that did the first Dune game, though I could be wrong--it may be that it only had some members of the original team. Drakan was in any case superior.

In any case it was a great game. It was a bit like zelda.
It contained sub-quests, mazes with traps, puzzles, level bosses and ofcoarse the dragon spells and simulation was excellent aswell.
The graphics were very good for the time too, I think.
