Capcom Arcade Hits Volume 1

Official Capcom's release of arcade version of SF1 and SF2. Although emulations, we agreed that official releases are OK, as long as neither ROMs or emulator can't be separated from archive.

Moby only has info on Capcom Arcade Hits Volume 2 and it says it was released in 2003. However, I found info on other sites claiming that both Volumes were published on the 31st December 1999 in USA, and few more state 2003 again.

I can open topic for Volume 2 as well...

Well, both IGN and GameSpy show the release date as 31st December 1999 and GameSpot shows 2003.
Anyway, if Capcom is the developer, the collection is protected until 31st December 2015 or until 2019.

Confirmed, therefore...

Duly noted. I apologize for not paying more attention to the other dates in the rejected requests subform. :headslap:

:omg: 20 years of protection????? wow....

Paco 23-02-2011 04:07 PM

@marko no, 15 Years. 2003 + 15 = 2018 + 1 = 2019. hmm its not until end of year but at the begin of year.

Shouldn't we count from the first release date? I mean, 2003 is probably date of re-release or release in some other country... It makes sense to consider the latest release, but I thought we don't do it that way... doesn't matter really, just thinking loud :)

The game is not protected anymore.
Unavailable to buy.

I think we can label the game as 'approved'. Can anyone confirm that?

This is SpiDoL, the one who originally requested this game be put on the site.

I'm sorry, I know multiple accounts are against the forum rules. The only reason I'm doing this is because I literally lost all access to my SpiDoL account. I don't remember my password for the account, and the email associated with it was deleted a long time ago.

Anyways, I uploaded the game along with a review and everything to your FTP way back when. Is that stuff still there? Hopefully, because if it is, you should be able to add it to the main site right away...
