since nobody replied for a week i sent the mail on the innrevival discussion boards on the google groups, i hope someone will reply now .. since all the members of the mail discussion group get notified on their personal e-mails. if not, i consider it would be safe to use their server in the default configuration, because they either don't care or died or something. and i don't think that advertisement for their server is a bad thing..

Ok, but, what do we do if this does not work?

Common sense. They publicized the details of their server, ergo they want it to be known. There is no alternative anyway.

I Have SQ6 on my Collection disc, if I can extract it does AB want it, is it protected?

Also I found a copy of NVN offline (AOL) on the net, does AB want it? it is buggy, like it cant save is one of the problems... (but AB would have to get permission from the website i got it from? http://www.bladekeep.com/nwn/index2.htm)

SQ6 is sold at GOG :OK:

I doubt AB would want a buggy game - especially when not being able to save is one of those bugs. But thanks anyway. :max:

From that site you can see the nature of this game:
Quote:

This version of the game was used during the final upgrade. Red Larch, Westbridge, the RL/WB Under, many quests, and a number of other things from NWN2.22 are missing. Some of the fight triggers are different also. BUT - many of the things you loved are still intact. A large failing is that you cannot save your character.
To download NWN Offline - click here.
If you have trouble running the game (ie - runtime errors), you need to slow your processor (use moslo).
To download moslo - click here.
Now there have been rumblings about hacks that will save your characters, and ways to make this multiplayer - but I have not seen anything solid on ANY of these yet. Of course if anyone ever does figure something out, let me know, as I would love to have something listed here that would explain the process necessary to save a game, or to hack it where a few people could play at once.
If you have any further information, please email it to Medar.
It's buggy because it can't be played online anymore, but it seems a full game to me, even it works partially.

You should feel free to promote the project in any way you can. I haven't found time to do much work on it myself in quite a while, but if there were an influx of new players that might get the fire re-lit.
