What about game character battles? Is there any demand at this forums? I would see if I could organise it.

Not that I know. However, a video game character fighting tournament could be easily made with MUGEN.

Actually we have (had) two great Loom fans among the members (Bobbin and Bobbin Threadbare). Both had nice Bobbin avatars and signatures as far as I remember.

You could do it as a spinoff like gamefaqs is doing right now, get nominations for the characters vote on the nominations. Then take the top nominations and put them into a poll "battle" of say 2 characters or up to 4 if there were a lot of nominations, have people vote for one day or two, then whoever wins that particular battle will move on in the next phase of the tournament, until eventually after many series of battles there will be only one character left standing, the champion.
