Emoticons Strike Back (The Sequel)

With kind permission from Admin, I would ask any Emoticon Ideas to be placed here.

Besides that, I was thinking about a small lizard Emoticon for me.

Maybe after I reach 100 posts? After a 1000?

Just something that would be cool.

Anybody else have any ideas?

(This is a extension of the "Old News" thread "Emoticons", which hasn't been commented on since 2010:picard:)

How about This:http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7324/1...76b37881_o.jpg

Does anyone know how to take off the white borders?
I tried everything-- Couldn't figure it out.

P.S. I can provide slightly bigger size if needed-- Actually, I can provide quite a bit larger, it's just that the re-size function in my photo editor makes it come out strange sometimes... Like streched out a little, or some pixels double, some not.

P.P.S. What do the Admin think about getting this put in?
I could create one with motion if I could get the white borders off.
Maybe once I reach a higher number of posts, to prove my dedication?

Even Later Edit:
How do you like this:http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3702/1...e49b2057_o.jpg

Could be useful, eh? Smaller, 'haps?

You need to save the picture in the GIF format and select the option for Transparent Color (most programs which save in this format should have this option), then select the color that you wish to be ignored while the picture is displayed - which is in this case the white borders around the head.
As far as I'm aware only the GIF format supports the transparent color, and I think also the PNG format does, however GIF is far more widespread and well-known because much older.

The lizard is insufficiently on fire, electrocuted and chasing its own tail to qualify. :p

PNG does. Most modern browsers support it (there might be transparency issues with IE8, I think... not exactly a new browser tho), and unlike GIF it supports 24-bit color and 8-bit transparency instead of 256-color palette and 1-bit transparency.

Ok, I tried to do something like that:
Nope that didn't work...

Well, I attached it, you can see it's animated now.

Lemme try again...

I've got three here-- The last one is almost good...

Know any easy to use Apps that are free for this sort of thing?

I am using

1. Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 (This is an older paid program I got for free from a Half Price Books Dumpster)

2. PhotoScape (This is a free Image Editor with an easy GUI. It does some things very easily and well, but it just doesn't do other things.)

3. My Final resort, which I rarely resort to, is MS Paint/ or Paint the program that came with WIN XP. It's pretty lousy.

I'm sure there's some handy GIF saver out there-- I should Google Search.

As you can see, the last 2 didn't animate... apparently JPSP didn't read the files as already animated...

@ Horseman:
I don't see :horseman: on fire, chasing himself, and being electrocuted.

Oh, well that's right, you have 14,099 posts.

How about this, then?
(Star at attachment for a few seconds, you'll see)

Sorry, forgot about the tail... That's a little too hard, though.

What you see below is the result of a lot of work...

I had to do about 650 clicks just to get it to be transparent...

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeese?

(I can make it smaller, of course.)

(Or bigger XD. I saved it originally in 200x200!)

We actually have an emoticon addition thread stickied somewhere and I'm meant to add them... BUT I'm at the pub and it it's all too hard from here. I'll have a look in the morning :)

Also, I just noticed that your exploding gif has a hilarious amount of frames, I kind of want to give it a hug :D

No, but any of those would convey your hyperactivity rather well, wouldn't it? :p

You talk about hyperactivity! You're only on about every day and have accumulated about 14,101 posts!;)
But I know what you mean.
Except for Chasing myself.
If I'm chasing anything, it's the wind!

But anyway, take a look at the one attached to the next message! You might find it more satisfactory :)

Believe me, that lizard could use a hug. XD
