PS: I recommend you play Tyrian 2000. Could not start the highest difficulty, but GoG put it on free4all, so you should have it, and it is nice even on normal mode. Excellent arcade shooter. Total blast 'em up! :minigun:

I will pay very deep attention of these ones.

To be fair, i was so astonish with DAO that i played little

nervous. But this game is so deep, so nice that for the second

time in my gamer life (The first was Lord of Xeen - played 11 times)

i will play it again, performing all possible quests.

You need to have _very_ observant eyes for this game, I believe. I wasn't able to solve it without walkthru in several specific pixel-hunting places.

To regain your trust, I can say that I finished Simons 2-4 without walkthru - they implemented button "show all active items". ;)

I have this problem with the White Walkers in GoT. They never did no wrong, but everyone is so full of prejudice towards them.
All they did in the tv-show was acting on self-defense. They Walk around peacefully saving babies from freezing to death, and what they get? Villagers' axe and pitchfork in their face, and Nightwatch-weapons.
The guy who ran away throwing away all his weapons was not chased. Sam The Sitting Duck was not harmed.
Oh, there was a full-scale assault on the Wildlings, right - but first those morons set the Wood of the Zombies on fire for all sake!

Enemies in this game are always a lot, dont worry :D

Then go to next weak one till the stronger enemy left.

Note that team members are very inteligent.

Little trick: I use to use 2 mage healers - Anders and me.

Merill looks anorexic. And she abducts babies. I mean she's an elf. They do the changling-stuff.

The KG and I has almost the same body-shape, but Isabela is a lowlife, a duelist, and a gambler - none that'd ensure a long future.
Too bad Aveline Vallen is not an actual romance-option, she's just for flirting (well, that's why fan-fiction exist, to expand the official canon, right?).

The other three romance-options are all males, and it is an interesting fact four out of the five (canon) romances are bisexual (one male is hetero only).
Anders by the way is a jerk, Fenris is mad, and although I play females 90% of the time (for more boobs) the last guy is a religious fanatic who vowed poverty so nah.

But i am always beaten to dead (my blows are weak),

It was expected about football, Yoga. No one cared about _growing_ footballers, old, soviet ones are too old, and _buying_ have it's limits. So we consistently lose all significant football competitions last ten years or more. *shrugs* Pity, of course. But predicable.

Witcher 1 is pretty good actually.

Well, Capo, I don't said it's bad. It's only... highly unorthodoxal in it's approach. And somewhat buggy. That's all. :) I can play it (and struggle at the beginning of chapter 2, actually), it's simply... not very 'mine' game. :)

In all the Witcher games the only controllable character is Gerald.

It's wrong on too many levels.

1. Battles. They are bearable, even if I cannot understand need of pausable/turn-based battles with rhythm-based attacks. But it simply doesn't work in any situation when I am thrown into battle immediately on the location start. I.e. always. If I am not in battle stance, Geralt reacts in 5-10 seconds of RT that can cost him life.

2. Non-linear encounters that I am not aware of. Geralt does what _he_ wants to do, asking _my_ opinion only in key moments. It was annoying in Prologue, but became true nuisance at the end of Act 1 (when I accidentally failed ALL my quests except plot ones - and discovered it hour and half afterwards, after three main quests).

3. Wonky scripts. It works fuzzy, and not always linear, so I have to sacrifice most of non-key NPCs - I simply too slow to save everyone when battle initiated simply by me being too close (linear-wise, but not necessary it's close by real way). Most NPCs also extremely fragile, so I had to protect all my comrades, otherwise they will be killed very soon. Also, in pair of places I got "second" reply that was answer for reply that I never did - or have chance to do.

4. Very clunky interface. I simply have no idea what I got, information-wise, and where to seek for it. Unforgivable for the game that have so much books. And transparent walls where I can parts of monsters from the other side. And chests/cupboards visible with names turned on. *sigh*

5. Mismatch Russian language. Short bearded race named "redmans" (краснолюды) in some cases and "dwarfs" (гномы) in the others. Sound levels can varied right during the same dialogue. Ow!

6. Overall grimdark setting. Initial Witcher series _is_ dark, but not to the level "everyone are filthy liers and traitors", as in this game. Slightly too far for me.

So, well, game is playable and maybe even good - but not exactly "mine". :)
I am omnivore. ;) I can play anything - my most weak places are slow reaction time and inability to control many events simultaneously. So platformers are usually "no", and RTS are "big no", except several obvious exclusions. Shooters, in other hand, usually fine, because I always can reduce amount of simultaneous enemies to mere several (And I am bad in cases when it's impossible). Physics "puzzles" annoys me too - puzzle without need of right answer, but with need to try to do something vaguely sensible enrages me. Mostly, that's all of my idiosyncrasies. :)

(And all inanimate objects will have different rules for cases. In that particular case "translated padejeys" implies that you percept cases as animated. Right word will be "padeji", just as name form. :)

Well, it's not very nice (but rare game have outstanding sound - heck, most of _movies_ have average translations!). But my point was technical one: one term must have one meaning. For example, same race cannot have two different names. And when the same man in the same dialogue sounds _different_, it breaks my sense of disbelieve, sorry.

some water monster-god Dagon, who is invincible.

He will die when i kill all its minions.

OK. I think i killed about 8 already if my memory served me well.

Can some good hearded mate informs me how many minions have
