http://www.nrg.to/Luchsen/kugel.jpg Here with transparent background (unfortunately with a few yellow fields). I couldn't copy/paste the picture above so if you're sharp-eyed you can see little differences because I had to repeat the effect on transparent background. http://www.nrg.to/Luchsen/kugel.gif See this picture on dark background |

LOL cellulise or whatever the filter is in Photoshop the first 2 aint it?
|
Kind of. LOL

The first two versions are very interesting, I like them very much. The shading, the filter, the colors, all come together to make a very interesting piece (in progress?).
The last, I have to be honest, I really don't like. With the filter you've used on the second, and removing the clothing, the colors of the piece as a whole have lost quite a bit of the lightness that made them really interesting. It doesn't have as much interest now. The dark triangle is too geometric in comparison with the rest of the piece, which means.... guess where your attention is focused? Also, there's not enough points of interest (using color, etc.) to draw your attention to other parts of the piece, so guess where the attention stays focused? And somehow, that makes the piece more vulgar to me than artistic. And I would like to say that I personally collect female nudes, and draw them myself, so it's not complete bias, I just think I don't like the way this has been presented. (although I'm not really certain that this forum is the best place to present such things as full nudes, either). Maybe try a different filter, add something to take the attention throughout the piece, rather than drawn to one part of it? I hope you don't take this too offensively, it's meant to help more than anything else. But, this is the longest and most complex critique I've given in the art forum, so go you :ok: ;) |
