All Christian World mourn for this man, who did much to improve his church. For me, it's a pity, that our Patriarchy didn't allow him to visit Russia.

Hmmm, I'm not that fussed.

I cared slightly at first... but alot of forums went immature , censorship and dictatorship so now the pope's death is nothing but annoying

Plus its still on the news and its still on the front page of abandon
BORING let the guy rest in peace already

i think possibly the worst thing i heard over the whole thing was someone in the pub yesterday "i hope we get a sodding day off, then he might have done something for me at least" - i nearly smacked the guy.

The "Great Flood" thread is still going strong and no one has resroted to flaming or insults, this the way it should be. If anyone messes that thread up then I will be pissed off.

The thread will stay open as long as we stay respectful in our comments regarding the pope. The reason for this is that some people feel strongly (including me...yes, I'm not ashamed to admit I shed a few tears) and emotions are still running high. To hear him ridiculed is hurtful for some and flamebait for others. We like discussions to be respectful and fun and not denigrate into a situation where we're tearing each other apart.
