The amazing adventures of ANSI Dude
I remember I originally found it in a popular DOS shareware collection in 2 CDs (something like The Complete Encyclopedia of Games). It was a ASCII-based roguelike in a Sci-Fi setting (i remember this because you could choose between various weapons, among them there was something like a plasma gun). In the first level, If i recall correctly, you had just crashed into a planet and you had to explore it. I'm almost sure it's on Mobygames somewhere, as I think I saw it some time ago, but I'm unable to find it. Please help.

I found it! I found it! "The amazing adventures of Ansidude"!

The Amazing Adventures of ANSI Dude (1995) By VectorScope Software It's abandoned :). You can easily find it on the net, would you mind reviewing it? |
Amazing Adventures of ANSI Dude, The
Where can I find this enchantingly titled number / potential hunk of tripe?
I had never heard of this game until I spotted the name while trawling threads from ages past... I'd like to give it a good playing-thru and review its performance, snuggled up together over a hot laptop. [ed] Cool - Moby Games makes it sound like a game from the Repton series. I miss Repton... |

The shareware version is easy to find. It's actually the full game, there's only a counter at the beginning of each level (you have to wait a few seconds before you can play). |
Ah, I see - I wasn't aware of that. Thought that was a demo version, as the game's supposed to have more levels than seems apparent in the shareware version, according to moby.
Nice one Zirkoni! [ed] hmm... most of the google hits point back to this and the other thread, here. |

Nice - Ralackk helped me translate this page. It's got a link for download. http://www.joguinhosantigos.com/2007...ansi-dude.html A 2.1 Gig download for an archive of 120Kb would've taken me weeks... |
You can get shareware games easily from CD.TEXTFILES.COM.
