:help:
I used to think I was quite a clever chap...

but I am beginning to think I am actually pretty stoopid!!!

Will someone PLEASE explain to me in simple terms how to put an image that sits on my local drive into a message post?

Please!!!

Oh ok,

I thought that would just add a download link.

Lets try it out...

Cool, it worked,

Now the next question is, can I only put one picture in or can I add more than one?

That can't be good for her back  Can only add one attachment to a post, btw.

Oh Ok I guess you can just stick two images together in paint or something,

Kinda like this...

or just upload it to an image host, get the addy of the image, and put it in [img] tags like this:
Code:

[img]http://img112.exs.cx/img112/5126/mercsig0do.gif[/img]
that will appear like this:
http://img112.exs.cx/img112/5126/mercsig0do.gif
