Here the story, a long time ago I started to make a mod for a game called, Bandits: Phoenix Rising. Then the developer got defunct (GRIN)

The Publishers of the game, Pan Vision (EU) , 1C Company (russia) and Tri Synergy (USA), neither of them have ANYTHING about Bandits on their site anymore, no patches, no support, nothing.

There was also some talk about the game getting ported to Linux (by Linux Game Publishing), but nothing new has come up about that since 2004.

What I want to know is if the game is abandoned? If not, who owns the rights? The dream would be to be able to release the full version together with my mod and hopefully bring new life to it.

If its abandoned it would also be great to add the game to abandonia since I have the manual, cap, soundtrack etc etc etc. It would be a pleasure for me to be able to supply everything, including the game and extras!

This might require some detective work, as far as I know, I can't find a company who actually might own the rights to it. I think Pan Vision do, but they don't even mention it on their backlists and stuff.

Amason sells old copies of it from Magnum Games, but their site is so broken I think the company is dead.

Please help me out! :)

PS: It would also be cool since I actually was a beta tester for the game a long time ago before i started on the mod for it, my name is even in the manual! :perv:
