Well it's official now, Telltale games is working on the new Sam & Max game and it appears Steve Purcell (creator of the Sam & Max cartoons) will be releasing new Sam & Max serialized cartoons online on www.samandmax.com as well as on snm.telltalegames.com

Weren't we told about this around a month ago on these very forums?

Yes, however back then most of it was speculations and dodgy reporting (our main sources were a news article from some gaming site few had ever heard of and suggestive talk by Purcell, but nothing concrete)
Only now have we received official confirmation by Telltale games that they will be working on it, we have received an official site plus other information on the Sam & max cartoons.

Asking me why I'm reporting the opening of the site and such would be like asking the news on the first day of the american offensive against Iraq "why are you reporting this, we already knew they were going to go to war"

And, as we all know, the production of a new Sam & max game is much more important than a gulf war.

Because the first hints of a new Sam & max game were also posted here and there is no other section for it. I concidered posting it in Favourite Oldies and Newbies, but then I reasoned this news is about a Favourite Soonbie.

Still, why not just post it in the existing thread?

I dislike bumping up old threads, plus now it'll get more attention (instead of people thinking I'm responding to soemthong someone said in mid-september)
Anyway, why do I ahve to justify every damn thing I do, it's quite annoying, not to mention pointless.

I think that the Tell Tale are good enough to make a fantastic sequel of Sam & Max... but they're going (probably) to sell it only by internet and in episodes (like Bone): :not_ok:
