Most of the CD-R/RW comes with some burning software, usually nero or roxio.

Hi. Forgive me for being ignorant, but in the case of the X-Wing game, i burnt a CD like you guys said, but now I have a CD with two files in it (1 .bin and 1 .cue) and i donīt see what to do with it to run the game. please help.

Don't burn it like you would a regular data-cd. Choose "Burn disc form image" or something similar. The bin-file contains the actual image, but the .cue-file contains information your burn software uses to burn the cd correctly!
Oh, and another good freeware burner is: CDBurnerXP Pro |
If you have files bigger than 700mb you can still burn them to a cd using overburn (if ur drive supports it) it allows 800mb of data on a cd
|
yeah, but you have to use a good quality CD and burn it on low speed to have more stable process :bye:
|
and the drive u play the disc on needs support (i think!)
