I have been trying to get a hold of guilty gear x for a while now. I found it on "Home of the Underdogs" and it works great up until I want to change the keys on the keyboard. The config console that came with it seems to have a button for "keyboard config" but it remains inactive no matter what I try. There is no in game menu for keyboard config at all, and the keys are so awkwardly placed that game play becomes a bit of a mission. Can anyone help me? I am DESPERATE to enjoy this game again; I loved it so much when I first played it. Any ideas if i need to maybe download a new config app.

get a full cd image and try that. i found x works fine for me but XX #Reload just crashes when i try to start it.

jjxb, with your full cd image, can you tell whats in your:
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CyberFront\Gu iltyGearx\KeyboardConfig
in windows registries?

im not sure if its the right place but it would help since with the ripped version from hotu the key is just empty. and if the controls are reset there in the original version, maybe it would work

i don't have it installed at this moment but i'll install later since i'm going to bed soon.
