:help: can any 1 help me i have an old BIT Laptop (BIT is outta biusness) and there are 2 keys that dont work properly, when you press the o it comes up
o+ or +o
Second of all its the L. this happens when i type:
he
l
lo

I think the problem with the L is it also has the PG DOWN buton on it.
My net password has an L in it so when i type ***l** immediatly when i press l it connects
HELP :help:

Edit by Titan: Last verbal warning. Cut down on the smilies.. 15 of the same is NOT better then 1.. we get the point with just the one. Also repeating the same thing 4 times as you did in the other topic (your e-mail adress) doesn't realy help you.

Sugest you read the rules of this forum once more.

If you can't afford a different laptop, at least buy a USB-port keyboard to hook up to your laptop.

EDIT: if your name meanss the laptop is running a 486 processor, then ignore my suggestion, you don't have a USB port on it.
Either buy a new one or open up and clean the keyboard of your current one.

Moved since it have nothing to do with troubleshooting.

You should have a PS/2 port on your keyboard, which SHOULD make it possible to connect a PS/2 keyboard.

Now this is the reason why I sold my old laptop and got a normal tower... just can't be bothered with this when your laptop breaks down :)
But if your laptop doesn't even have a ps2 port then you can get the old keyboards if you look in a second hand shop or some of the sell/swap papers that every country have.

Indeed. But you originally posted it in Troubleshooting, which is about problems starting games, so Eagle of Fire moved it here.
And please try not to double-post quite so much.
