Turn based, strategy DOS or Windows game
Hi,
I've been trying to figure the name of an old game, that featured gameplay very similar to Civilization like titles, but featured a number of maps that covered themes as diverse as pre-Columbian America and colonial period Africa. The range of factions, that varied according to each scenario, was huge. If I'm not mistaken, there were eve fantasy scenarios that had factions like Elves and dwarves. The game had no animations that I can remember of, and featured vga graphics, if I'm not mistaken. I'm also not sure of it runned in DOS or in Windows 3.1 Help, folks! |
I'd also add that the game also featured Sci-Fi scenarios with that had different alien races as factions.

Could it be one of the ad-ons for Civ 2? I know I used to play these scenarios there, with goblin factions, demon factions, teddy bear and dolphin factions, as well as amoeba factions pouring research into whatever single cell organisms would fancy.
|
I'm positive it wasn't Civilization II with/out add-ons.
|
Only other game with multiple scenarios that I can remember of this era is Warlords 2 Deluxe. Check it?

I might be completely off here, but try one of Empire games, for example Empire II.
