Ok, I have time this weekend, or at least I hope I will have.

So people if you want to play tell me when you have time.

I have Civ 2 Test of Time (original game, expanded original game, the fantasy world of Midgard and the far future universe of Lalande, all in one), if I'm able to play it togehter with original Civ 2 of yours, I'm with you (as long as you tell me how it is going with the multiplayer, got no idea, only played Diablo II and Neverwinter Nights through their servers so far)

Hmm, yes ok, still there remains the part of how playing it through the multiplayer mode (what to set, where to connect and so on), as I'm not as long on internet (9 monts) and don't know very much about it yet.

Just click on Multiplayer, and Internet-game
The it will ask for an IP-adrs.
One will have to HOST the game (doesn't require a good computer or anything).
He/She will give you his/her IP, and you just type it in.. and it'll connect.
And when everyone is connected (will show names in a list, who is on and so on), the host starts the game... then it's like normal.. 1 player = 1 turn...

Btw... i'd STRONLY recomend that you set a TIMELIMIT of 3 mins / turn.. if someone leave the computer, the game will still run.

Aha, aha, hmm, jahh, aha, yeah, yeah...
That simple? Cool. Now let's plan that play-time. I always have time.

I guess, as you only can have up to 7 (or 8?) computer opponents in the game, this would be the number + you of possible players in multiplayer game.

FreeFreddy 02-07-2004 06:06 AM

Yep, the version on this site supports up to 7 players.
