I guess since I already made a half-snark response in the thread for Acheton that I may as well introduce myself.

I usually can be caught playing text adventures or abandoned classics if I am gaming. This is due in equal parts to the fact that I run Linux, so the old games play better on DosBox than the new ones do in Wine, and to the fact that after having kids, the consoles kind of got hijacked. I wish I could say it was by the kids and I could just kick them off, but it ends up that it was by my wife who got addicted to "Those stupid damned games" while recovering from her first C-section, :bleh1:

Anyways, accordingly, I will likely be a little active in the adventure forums, mostly giving out hints and advice to players new to the text-adventure/interactive fiction genres.
