PMs

They had some serious security flaws pointed out by _r.u.s.s.
As of such I have disabled them.

We are working a solution for the problem.

The forum pm system should be working for everybody now.
check the text + link below the Welcome, at the top right of the screen.

Due to design issues, you can't click on a username to send him/her a pm, but the board will offer a drop down with completions while typing the receiver.

If you have problems with please post here.

ps:
Please check if you have enabled before reporting problems:

Can't we do a drop down like in the thread tools for example? :sneaky:

We had one, but it was before we switched from Invision PowerBoard to vBulletin.

What I meant is:
Do we have somebody aboard who is able to code the according language?

_r.u.s.s. 08-01-2009 12:54 PM

it's same "languages" it's just that powerboard had it already coded

btw it could show a static sized div with red border absolute position somewhere on top, on that white space (above search), when you recieve a new PM. that wouldn't be difficult, would it?

There's a setting in the control panel to have a popup when there are unread PMs, along with other options. I don't think everybody will appreciate aggressive notification forced on the users.

You're just itching to write some code. :bleh: Go and make us some web pages for the site. :D

_r.u.s.s. 08-01-2009 09:22 PM

eww popups

btw that "code" is like 1 div :p
