Abandonian Massacre Revisited
 

Wow. For those of you who don't remember Abandonian Massacre was the first (And last AFAIK) Game based on the Abandonia website and forum. It was made 4 years ago almost and was really the reason for the programming section of the forum in abandonia. It was made on Game Maker and was a FPS. It was also one of the first real freeware FPS's. Not to get your hopes up. In reality the game was never made past the 3rd level and it overall blew. But after learning that someone still had a copy of this gem of abandonian history I thought I would let you guys in on some of the fun.

Instructions
Movement=Arrow Keys
Shooting= space bar
Opening doors= space bar
Interact with computer= Walk into it
Interact with Virus code= Walk into it

Backround=

Freefreddy (One of the admins at the time) Woke up one morning to log onto abandonia. The game starts in his bedroom as he wakes up and gets taken into abandonia's code by a virus that have taken over and cloned Kosta and Tom Henrik's Bodys. You have to kill them and locate the virus code to go onto the next section of code as the virus get's stronger and stronger.




Information so you understand what some stuff is.

Doors=Ioncannons face (The kid with glasses.)
The Walls with a fiery eagle= Eagle of Fire (A reference to a member of abandonia at the time)
Dead cartoon charachter (Reference to Forum member Fawfulhasfury)
Man with Axe in head (Reference to forum member (The name escapes me)
Man with Spear thru head (Reference to a forum Admin named Titan)
FreeFreddy=(Former admin of abandonia)
First enemy you meet=( Kosta the Owner of abandonia)
Second Enemy = Tom Henrik a admin on abandonia
Barrells with 999 on them (Reference to me who made the game. At the time my abandonian name was punch999)

The point is, I provided the lame glory that is Abandonian Massacre! back to punch999 because he graciously lost it, while I was possibly the sole keeper of the game file.
It sucks just as much now as it did then, and the impact made has long since faded away as pebbles falling from slightly taller rocks are wont to do.
Play it anyway for a good laugh.

Yeah I remember playing it. But nothing beats chickenman's 135 attempts at different abandonia projects. :D

I could make a better game in 30 minutes.

Wasn't it Tom Henrik who first came up with the idea for that game and worked on it during the first stages? He was the one to name the protagonist FreeFreddy and to include Kosta's portrait from the crew portraits section of the site as the enemy, at the very least.

No. This was my game from the start and my game only. Tom Henrik and Co had a idea for a game but it never went anywhere. And I never paid attention to what the OFFICIAL game was looking like because I thought it was a awful idea from the start. Me choosing freefreddy as the protaganist was strictly because except for titan there was no one else I would find humorous killing the other admins and saving abandonia.

The error is saying that there is no next level to go to. Which is true. There was supposed to be a Metal Gear style top down sneaking map but the game source got deleted before it could be done/
