Is there a Metroidvania with a mechanic like this?
 

I've been wondering if there ever was a MV where the exploration was limited not by having to unlock abilities but rather by restricting on how many could be equipped at the same time and where the current set can be changed, with the "power ups" increasing the equipment limit rather than granting new abilities.
Has any of you ever heard of one?
