Am I being a jerk if i say that this game seems to be just a clone of Xargon with a feminine protagonist ?
It's more fluent in graphics and movement though. :whistling:

Actually, they use the same graphics engine as Jill Of The Jungle. Unless we are talking about an "official game hack" such as "fury of furies" and "Pac In Time"

Well , that just shows how clueless I am. Oh well ... I shall learn in time.

I was initially rather sceptical about the game when I first learned about it, but it turned out to be well designed and very playable. There's nice music, nice graphics and animation (although the visual design of the worlds and the monsters are sure wacky at times, but very reminiscent of Xargon), and clever level layout. The game play is fast-paced, dynamic and not at all repetitive or boring. Overall, it's a very nice game! :)

Oh boy oh boy. I have been looking for this game. I could never remember the name, I thought it was just a Jill in the Jungle game but here it is. Oh yes.....this gets me excited.

Cause you know, I plan on doing a Let's Play of it on my channel and now I have it....you sick people you.

Hello! I have great news for you: I've made a fully functional Level Editor for Vinyl Goddess from Mars, and additionally, I've made a mod containing two brand new custom levels for this game!
You can simply look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GWeph9MhSY (links to both level editor and level pack are included in description).
You can also look at some technical details on Modding Wiki: http://www.shikadi.net/moddingwiki/V...dess_From_Mars
Or look at my post in classicdosgames forum: http://www.classicdosgames.com/forum...hp?f=25&t=1512

I hope you will like this new stuff for this awesome game.
