5 is my score, cos i do play it still nowadays from time to time and i think its best godgame around. oh jess!

this game is frankly amazing.

This game is great, I always loved messing with the land settings right as I was being attacked, watching them drown....wow, who would have thought that would be put in a game...Hope nobody tells ESRB, this game might not then be sutible for those under 18

When the game starts if its too fast... make sure you press the - key as it will be so fast that the game will end in like 1min :yawn: :w00t:

Hmm, that reminds me: is Populous: The Beginning AW yet?

I got that, along with a bundle of other games, with my Playstation, but it would have taken a whole memory card to save, so I never played it (slightly funny story- bought my PSX off a cousin with a load of games, traded/sold all the games I didn't want, made a profit!)

So, yeah. It looked good, and I'd like to play it if poss. Is it abandoned?

Seems a bit unlikely, it's only 7 years old - there was a 5-year gap between pop2 and p:tb.

i actually have one or two small problems with my own review - you credited me as "BeefOnTheBone" which is two capital letters too many if it's all the same, and on the third line of text there should be the word "and" immediately follwing the word "environment" - i added a bit later on and missed a word out, and didn't spellcheck since i typed it in notepad. any chance of some fixin's?

Well, I still saw Popolus: the beginning for sale back here in the Netherlands, I don't think it's abandonware yet. Doesn't matter, pop2 is better anyway :P

(btw I think there's something wrong with the voting system, no way that much voters voted that low for this game)

Could just put in any level you wanted and just go.
I'm gonna see if I can work it out again...
